March 21, 2024 Hoffmann Hillermann Newsletter

Hello Friends,

Happy SPRING! According to the calendar, spring started on Tuesday the 19th. Although, we know cold weather and spring frosts are possible through April. Make sure you are ready to protect your plants when forecasts show overnight temperature dips and the possibility of frost. Keep some old sheets handy for a quick cover up when needed. We’ve been receiving shipments regularly. Cool season flower and vegetable plants are available. Pansies, violas, alyssum, dianthus, dusty miller, and snapdragons are a few of the flowers that grow better in the cool, early spring weather. Cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, lettuce, spinach, kale and onions are some of the vegetables to start in early spring. Come by often and see all that is available as new shipments arrive.

It’s time to apply preemergent treatments in lawns and flowerbeds where you will not be sowing seeds. We can help you with DIY options – or we can do it for you with our full line of Landscape Maintenance Services. Stop by or call us at 636-239-6729 to learn more about our services.

It’s also time to make sure your Lawn & Garden Equipment is ready for the new season. Our Equipment Center offers quality brands of new equipment, plus parts and service for your current pieces. Our sales staff can help you select new equipment to best suit your needs.

Let us help you get started on a great growing season!
